Hi Everyone, I just bought a used guidescope with a Meade DSI imager only the guy I bought it from couldn't find the original software that came with the imager. He assured me it would be simple to find and install the drivers off of Meade's website, but I cannot for the life of me find them, or find any that work for that matter. It's an older DSI - he said it works well but it was purchased in 2006 or 2007. Would anyone know where to find the drivers that will allow me to connect to this DSI using PHD Guiding? 'meade dsi driver' in google puts up several on the first set of results. ![]() First one (Meade) says: Envisage Version 7.09 is Meade's DSI camera control software. Guess this one just gets the Meade ones: Not sure what this one actually supplies, as it talks about the drivers but does not seem to have a 'Download' button specifically for them. Does however mention compatible with W98. Mac menu while in parallels windows 10. Worth searching for the above string as it looks like there have been problems getting the drivers on various machines at different times. The drivers started out for 32 bit machines and evevntauuly got updated for 64 bit ones, but somewhat late in the day. Ultimately I suspect you download Envisage 7.08 or 7.09. ![]() The DSI comes with (clockwise from top left): - DSI camera body - RJ to DB9 adapter - eyepiece parfocalizing ring - Autostar Suite CDROM - Quickstart instructions - 4 wire RJ cable - 6 wire RJ cable - USB cable Everything you need to use the DSI is supplied in the box, including a built-in IR filter. Hi, The above post is correct, just download and install envisage from the meade site, then during the install it will ask you if you want to install the meade DSI driver and the meade LPI driver, just say yes to both and away you go, I used to guide with an old DSI colour and worked a treat with PHD and an ST80 guide scope. Regards SS Thanks Skysurfer. I just realized after going to the Meade website that most of their versions of Envisage unfortunately do not work with Windows Vista, which is the platform that my laptop is running off of. I wonder if there are older versions of Envisage that I could download that might work. I bet that Vista is the problem. Thanks Skysurfer. How to use wgrib2.
